Plan Folsom Blvd

Planning for Folsom Boulevard goes back to the Pony Express. With the opening of U.S. 50 in 1973, Sacramento’s 18.3-mile light rail system opening in 1987, and the light rail expansion to serve Historic Folsom in October 2005, the boulevard has undergone significant changes. This year, two projects are coming together to help advance plans around the Boulevard developed over the last 20 years.

Sacramento County, the City of Rancho Cordova and the Sacramento Area Council of Governments, are coming to your community in May and June to hear what can be done to advance community development around the light rail stations.
